World Folk Music Association (WFMA) HISTORY IN SONG This is a very good site, Using an academic approach, this site offers resources on early commercial folk efforts from the likes of Woody Guthrie, Bess Hawes, the Almanac Singers, etc. and their influence on performers like Bob Dylan and Jim McQuinn.
