| Posted by Fred to "K3 Chat" on 5/15/2000, 1:45 pm 4.35.90.127 | I've been listening to the STAY AWHILE CD this morning and I keep playing and replaying HANNA LEE. . . . There's also some great harmonica work on this cut. Does anyone know who's playing it? | |
| Posted by Triofan to "K3 Chat" on 5/16/2000, 2:32 am , in reply to "Re: Hanna Lee" | Ben Blake states that the
harmonica on "Gonna Go Down The River" [which
also appears on STAY AWHILE] was played by Billy Roberts
who wrote The Leaves' 1966 top 40 hit "Hey Joe".
The session notes only state that other information is
unavailable. I have no idea how Ben knows who played the
harmonica, but if he's right, I would guess that it's the
same player on Hanna Lee. Sounds like it to me anyway. John . . . The Triofan |
