The Capitol Years	22: Mary Was Pretty (Travis Edmonson) 2:01 Master #35206 recorded January 14, 1961 Previously unreleased From the pen of Travis Edmonson (of Bud and Travis fame) comes this lovely solo by Nick, the second of four tracks from the GOIN' PLACES sessions that did not actually appear on the original album. "Mary Was Pretty" was also recorded by the Smothers Brothers for their album PLAY IT STRAIGHT.
The Guard Years	Master #35206 recorded January 14, 1961 CD: The Capitol Years (Capitol CDP 82849827, released 1995) This evocative Nick Reynolds solo, which features some nice string work by David Wheat, was only just released by Capitol in 1995 on "The Capitol Years" Trio set. The Travis Edomnson composition tells of the better qualities of the women in the life of a man. After Mary, Nancy and Barbara, he finally settles down with Joanie!
